Mother Teresa and Being a Wandering Catholic
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
I like to think that one Rosary bracelet, one sticker, or even one mug can make a difference in someone’s life. Wanderer Catholic’s mission is to build relationships with people one at a time that drive mutual growth in Christian faith. We hope that we can provide opportunities for people to find Christ in their everyday life, and keep Him with them wherever they venture.
Mother Teresa encourages us to do small things with great love everyday. Smiling at one another, sending a friendly text message, or gifting a beautiful bracelet can be the light in someone’s day that they so desperately needed. Mother Teresa devoted her life to aided “the unwanted, the unloved, and the uncared for”. To many, she was the small thing in their life that brought them great happiness. She found Christ in everyone she met, even if they were the least of them all.
In our everyday lives we must also see Christ in the least amongst us. Mother Teresa traveled all over the world and opened schools, donation centers, clinics, homes for the sick and dying, and Missionaries of Charity congregations. As we travel on vacation, for work, or in life, we should be establishing Christ in the hearts of others. Bringing peace and love into the lives of others is one of God’s greatest commandments (Matthew 22:39).
Saint Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us!
