Carlo Acutis was born in 1991 and grew up in Milan, Italy. Carlo started learning about the Catholic faith after having a vision of his late grandfather where his grandfather asked him to pray for him. This led Carlo to the Church where he would go to confession weekly, and prayed before the Tabernacle before and after mass.
Carlo was considered a 'computer geek' and created a website dedicated to the miracles of the Eucharist from around the world when he was only 14 years old. You can still visit this site: http://www.miracolieucaristici.org/. Outside of school and his technology love he enjoyed volunteering with the poor destitute.
Soon after this, Carlo developed leukemia and died in 2006. In 2013, Carlo was titled a 'Servant of God', and was beatified in 2020. Today, Carlo is a wonderful example of faith and love for young Catholics across the world.
We designed this prayer card to feature two of Carlo’s favorite things: the Blessed Sacrament, and the mountains of Assisi, Italy.
