When Saint Bernadette was 13 years old Our Lady appeared to Bernadette in a grotto in Lourdes, France. This grotto is now one of the most visited pilgrimage locations in the Catholic faith. Our Lady of Lourdes instructed Bernadette to pray for sinners and that a chapel should be built at that location. The grotto still produces healing waters!
